Veteran Iranian voice actor Changiz Jalilvand passes away at 80.

Veteran Iranian voice actor Changiz Jalilvand has passed away in Tehran at the age of 80.

Jalilvand, who was known as the golden throat in Iran dubbing industry, passed away on Sunday in a hospital in Tehran due to the infection of coronavirus. He has been struggling with the disease for one month.

Jalilvand began his artistic career in 1957 with theatre activities. He has also acted in several TV series and movies. ‘Passing Through the Fall’ and ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ are the two series which were screened on ifilm English channel featuring Jalilvand.

Jalilvand lent his voice to famous foreign and domestic actors, including Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, Brett Lancaster, Maximilian Shell, Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole, Joel Brenner, Clint Eastwood and Dean Martin.
